Inayan Yasula is the deity who oversees the Flora, medicinal herbs, and healing. Her chosen Baganihan is Ilanggayan, a traditional healer apprentice from Herbuna Tribe.
I conceptualized her design while having medicinal plants in mind. Her hair is based on curing petals, vibrant and delicate. Some of her accessories were also inspired from Banaba flowers, a tropical tree with several medicinal attributes. Along with these organinc details is the pre-colonial Visayan aesthetic with the wraparound skirt and embroidered patterns. The embroidery is called Pinili from the province of Antique in Iloilo. Her divine relics were Mortar and Pestle, a set of tools used by the ancestors to crush and grind herbs and ingredients or to remove husks from rice grains.
