With the ever-lively creative scene in Metro Manila, you’ll never run out of events to add to your calendar. Since March has the distinction of being the National Women’s Month, this month, you have your fill of organizations putting together initiatives that are not only creatively stimulating but also celebrate, recognize, and empower women. Most of these happenings will focus on women’s lived-in experiences and acknowledge both their struggles and successes. And as for those that aren’t ostensibly women-centered, just know that there have been women working hard behind the scenes to get stuff done.
